Blondie is a sweet, shy puppy who is learning from her foster siblings how to be brave. She is 5 months old and currently weighs 12 pounds. Her mom was a sweet hound and we think dad was some type of terrier. She will probably end up medium sized but we can't be sure. She would do best in a quieter home with an outgoing, playful canine companion who will help her continue to overcome her fears. Once she comes to know you, she is a funny, energetic girl who is very food motivated and will take to positive reinforcement training well. She shares her foster home with 3 big dogs, 3 cats, a 10 year old child, and a tortoise that's bigger than her! She is eager for any of her foster siblings to play with her except the tortoise. She's not quite sure what to make of that yet! She loves to wrestle and play chase with her foster brother while being very respectful of those who do not care to play with her. She sleeps quietly in her crate and is working hard on house training. Her leash training is also a work in progress. Blondie will need a family who is home more often than not and can continue her house training by taking her out every few hours as well as keeping her on a good schedule. We are also requiring a fenced-in yard for her so she can get plenty of exercise each day. She would love a fur sibling to play with and She can't wait to have a family to call her own.
