My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Penguin! You probably noticed my eyes are a little different. I was born with kinda wonky eyes but as I got bigger I got partial vision! They don't give me any issues. I get around just fine and believe me, I know when it's food time without full sight!! My back legs are a little wobbly but I don't let that slow me down at all! The vets said they don't bother me at all and aren't worried about it. I use a litterbox and everything! My foster mom says I am an absolutely amazing little cat and I looove snuggling her. I have a great purr, and I love being picked up and cuddled. I do awesome with kids, new people, and the big cats in the home! I have to be adopted with my sister Pinga, who's pretty much my twin in every way. She is, even though I hate to admit it, even sweeter than me, which I didn't even think was possible!! We'd love to meet you!

Additional adoption info

If you’re thinking about adding a kitten or two to your family, a Bitty Kitty is a great choice! Kittens who have been bottlefed tend to be extra friendly and snuggly!

By adopting a kitten from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, you’ll be supporting our no-kill organization and making room for us to take in another orphan kitten.

All of our cats receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. Prior to adoption, all of our kittens are:

FeLV/FIV tested
spayed/neutered
treated for external and internal parasites
microchipped
FVRCP (distemper) vaccinated

Please allow 24-48 hours for a reply to an adoption inquiry.

More about this rescue

The Bitty Kitty Brigade is a foster-based rescue for orphaned neonatal kittens in the Twin Cities, MN and surrounding areas.

Our mission is:
To provide care for orphaned neonatal kittens and to partner with animal rescue organizations and impound facilities to improve survival rates within the neonatal kitten population.

The Bitty Kitty Brigade provides care for kittens ages 0-6 weeks who are without mothers and not yet eating on their own. Once weaned, the kittens are either transferred to one of our partner no-kill organizations or transferred to another caregiver within our organization where they will be cared for until adoption age.
