BayBee's adoption fee has been sponsored by a generous individual so when we approve the perfect adoption application for her, her adoption fee will be waived!

This long and lanky chi mix will melt right into your heart with those big adoring eyes. Baybee (5-6 years old? 11lbs) was found as a stray and spent the first two days at the shelter hiding under her bed. A volunteer eventually coaxed her out and had an immediate friend. While timid and a bit skittish right now, Baybee wastes no time warming up to gentle humans and other dogs of all sizes. She loves to be next to people and is learning that a lap is a very wonderful place to be. She has grown leaps and bounds in her confidence after only a few days in her foster home. She does well with her foster siblings (male and female), appears to be potty pad trained, walks on a leash, and sleeps through the night in her own bed. She loves to stretch her long body and drag herself across the floor as if she's swimming - very entertaining! Baybee can be a little skittish in noisy areas like cities etc. She would do best in a home in a quiet neighborhood. We have not tested BayBee with cats however she does take a big interest in critters outside and chasing them. This leads us to believe that she may be a cat chaser. *If you have a cat, we'd suggest a slow introduction with a safe space for the cat to jump up on or go to for personal space from a dog. A baby gate can work wonders for intros such as these*
