Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Chico, a charming chihuahua who weighs in at 10 pounds and is 10 years young. Chico might be small, but he's big on personality and love. Chico is a food enthusiast, always motivated by a tasty treat. He loves his walks and car rides, and he's excellent on a leash. In fact, my 10-year-old son can walk him with no problem, as Chico can comfortably stroll for about a mile before he gets tired and wants to be carried. Chico is great with kids, engaging warmly with children aged 5 and up, although he prefers to keep his distance from babies and toddlers. He's house trained and has recently mastered the use of a doggy door. Friendly with everyone he meets, Chico fits right in with our pack and brings joy with his calm, funny, happy, curious, and cuddly nature. He also tolerates cats as long as they don't bother him. However, there are a couple of things to watch out for: Chico has a tendency to bolt out an open door, and he doesn't feel comfortable around very large dogs.
Chico just had over 20 teeth pulled and an infection in his foot cleared up. He is now ready for his forever home !!!!
Chico is currently in foster care and is available for adoption through individual meet and greets. For more information, please contact us at fosterhueysrescue@gmail.com.
