Don’t let his name fool you, cause Nanook certainly isn’t a lost boy…at least not anymore. Hailing from Lockhart, Texas, Nanook came to us heartworm positive, full of matts and hungry for a little TLC. Now that he’s been brushed out, he is feeling much better! Based on our experience, we’d say that he actually enjoys a good brushing. If you’re looking for your ideal starter dog, Nanook could be your guy. At his age, this mature mutt has mastered the majority of his household manners. He is also as gentle as can be without a care in the world for most of the animals around him, so he would adjust well to just about any home. The hardest part about Nanook will be maintaining his coat, which can be done with just a daily brush and the occasional bath. Nanook is affectionate, quiet and EASY! If you asked him what his ideal day would be, it would include him laying at your side for the majority of it. Nanook quickly earned a spot as an office favorite with his contagious smile and bubbly personality.
