Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Poor Curtis was seen by one of our volunteers being thrown out of a moving car. He is just the sweetest most loving cat and we can't imagine why someone would ever be so cruel to him. He gets spooked easily which is possibly due to the trauma of being thrown out of the car. Curtis had glaucoma in his right eye that had to be removed due to the pain it was causing him and his left eye gets eye drops twice a day. It is very easy to give him his drops, and he appreciates being snuggled and reassured before getting them. Curtis is definitely spoiled and adored at APR, but we would love to see him find a loving forever home!
He qualifies for our Medical Adoption Program, so his veterinary care will be provided for the rest of his life at APR. He's estimated to be born in 2012 and is around 13 pounds. To meet our beloved boy, please fill out an application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and an APR team member will contact you to make an appointment. To meet this adoptable pet, please fill out an adoption application at www.abandonedpetrescue.org and a team member will contact you to schedule an appointment.

More about this shelter
Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR) is one of the largest no-kill animal shelters in South Florida with the mission of rescuing and sheltering abandoned and abused cats and dogs with the goal of finding them new homes. APR's adoption center has about 150 cats and 30 dogs, all of which receive nutritious meals, veterinary care, enrichment and love.
APR, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1996 by a group of volunteers who were trapping, spaying and neutering feral cats and quickly realized the greater need to help abandoned pets and advocate for a no-kill community. APR is funded solely by generous donors and grants.
