Personality: Curious, Energetic, Friendly toward humans, Friendly toward other animals, Funny, Hesitant, Playful, Smart, Sweet, Very shy (you are unable to touch this animal without it running away or being fearful, etc).
Current Diet: Oxbow Essentials Adult Guinea Pig Food, Fruit, Veggies, Leafy Greens, Western Timothy & Orchard Mix, Western Timothy Hay.
Favorite toys and activities: Madonna likes to eat and drink her fresh filtered water all day and chew on a variety of toys. She likes to stretch out and relax while watching her foster do activities. She will run around and play chase with her sister. She comes up front to her cage to look at and sniff her foster's dog for a while.
Potty trained: We're working on it!
This animal’s daily routine: As soon as she sees her foster in the morning, she gets very vocal. She will stand against the cage;Her foster will pet her nose and give her fresh food, water, and veggies. Some baked oxbow treats and a different veggie at lunch and dinner. Her foster talks to her very often, and she loves her cage cleaned/touched up daily. She gets out of cage time in a playpen, etc, or holding for a few minutes. Madonna starts to nibble lightly on my arm or shirt to be put back down.
BFF: Madonna & Tiffany are a bonded and must be adopted together.

MN Pocket Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization primarily serving the Twin Cities Metro Area, focusing on education and public outreach. Our intent is to keep all animals in their homes, with their families, whenever possible. We are committed to rescuing those pocket pets that are in jeopardy of being euthanized or are in danger of being abused, left unattended or in other types of vulnerable situations. We ensure all animals receive proper veterinary care, medication and special training for any behavioral issues, as well as to arrange safe, temporary homes for these animals until stable forever homes can be found.
