My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rescued at just four days old, Ruffles and her six littermates were saved from unfortunate circumstances and faced with an unlucky fate. Fortunately, our devoted adoption coordinator, Christine, took them in, bottle-fed them, and cared for them until they were old enough to be adopted. Now that Ruffles has been baked to perfection, she is ready to live life on the savory side!

Though we cannot be sure of her breed without a mom or dad in the picture, she seems to possess traits from the Retriever family. With that in mind, you can count on Ruffles to be friendly, intelligent, and active. As an older puppy, Ruffles has mastered her potty manners and with continued socialization, training, and commitment, she will make a great pet! Ruffles certainly brings her own flavor and flair: whether you are looking for a playful companion, clever sidekick, or cuddle buddy, this gal has it all. Apply to meet her today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
