Remy is a 6 month old puppy (b. Jan 2024), she's a bundle of joy looking for a loving family who can match her boundless energy and playful spirit. She's already mastered the art of being housebroken, crate trained, and knows her way around basic commands – proof of her sharp intellect and eagerness to please. This lively girl is not just about fun and games, she's a social butterfly who gets along famously with dogs, cats, and adores the company of humans, big and small. Whether it's cuddling up or playing fetch, Remy's gentle nature shines through in every interaction. She's a perfect match for an active household. Remy's vibrant personality is simply waiting for the right family with whom she can romp and roam to her heart's content. Imagine the joy of having a loyal friend who's always up for an adventure – from neighborhood strolls to fetching a ball in the park. Remy dreams of a forever home with space to stretch her legs and a family who will cherish her loving nature and brighten their days with her exuberance. Because with Remy, every day is a new tail-wagging adventure!
Please Note: A Courtesy Post designates that an animal is still in the home of its owner and not in a Muddy Paws foster. This means that our exposure to the animal is limited since we are only assisting the owner in finding a new home for their pet. From time to time owners find a new furever home for their pets outside of Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue, and there is a delay in removing them from our site. We apologize if the Courtesy Post you apply to adopt is unavailable for adoption.
The suggested adoption donation for Remy is $400 Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2021 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $307,000 covered mainly through adoption fees.
Before applying to adopt Remy, you need to be familiar with your local breed-specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls. Applicants must live within 50 miles of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area.
Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver.
Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months.
