Hello, meet Jessie. Jessie is a 9 year old, active female. She's a boxer mix with, we believe, pit bull, but we don't have that tested. She's been with me and well loved since she was 2 months old. She is a high-anxiety girl and always has been. I've known for a long time I don't meet her specific lifestyle requirements, but I've tried so hard. She has high activity needs and has severe separation anxiety that has increased since the birth of my daughter. In her youth she would destroy my home and chew through walls of left alone. I've had her in training and done my best to keep her comfortable and happy, but she's gone back to destructive habits with my new daughter. She has lived with my cat her entire life and does well with cats. She does well with other dogs and has the most fun with those her size or smaller (she sometimes gets defensive with larger dogs that are assertive), and she's always been good with my step kids. She just won't accept my baby (jealousy I'm sure).
