My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rufus is a beautiful, long hair Maine Coon. He is super affectionate 8 year old , loves his daily delectable treat, and meows when he wants attention or snugs. He loves to cuddle and especially loves docile dogs- his favorite animal is our golden retriever who doesn’t mind getting a long cat tail in her face. He does not like our French bulldog because she wants to attack Rufus, and he’s ok with our third dog. Rufus mostly lives in our basement because the French bulldog cannot go down there, but whenever he does come upstairs, it’s in search of love and affection. He does shed because of his long fur, but has minimal hairballs. We have tried to create a coexisting environment but it’s not fair to Rufus and he has so much love to give that we want to give that to him. He would be great as the sole animal but does get along with docile dogs and will love them up (we have photos of how much he loves our golden!). We have an automatic litter box, feeder, and cat tree that can go with him.
