Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Nasa is a handsome one-year old male Labrador Retriever mix who was brought to the HSOV late in the afternoon on July 9, 2024 by a Good Samaritan who found him on River Road in the Lowell Ohio area (one mile towards Devola). Unfortunately Nasa was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.
This good-looking young man has a sleek black coat with a narrow white stripe on his chest, a long tail, and an adorable face with dark brown eyes, a black button nose, and short floppy ears.
Thanks to HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver for accompanying Nasa for outdoor photos shortly after his arrival. Nasa was initially a little frightened when he was led into our shelter (and who could blame him since he had no idea what was happening and didn't realize everyone was doing their best to keep him safe and reunite him with his family).
Nasa weighs 47.8 lbs. He made a noble effort walking on a leash for Emily and loved attention from our kennel techs when he spent a little time in the lobby receiving attention from them.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Nasa will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
