My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Glad to meet ya! Name’s Tigger, T-I- double guh-er. That spells Tigger! ;-)

Tigger is a 5 month old, 5.5 pound (as of 10/5) brown tabby cat who has no association with the Winnie the Pooh character…but hey, this Tigger bears a lot of the same traits: Confident, curious, fun-loving, and full of energy.

Playful and sweet, Tigger has a grand old time horsing around with other cats and playing with his toys. He is sweet and affectionate toward humans, and when he’s in the mood for romance, he likes being pet and cuddled with. Chin scratches are ALWAYS appreciated!

Tigger is litter-pan trained, he’s got an excellent appetite, and he has a particular fondness for treats. For a tiny little kitty, Tigger is exceptionally well-behaved. He’s naturally got plenty of energy, but he’s also calm and gentle. A purrrrfect blend!

If you’re looking to share your home with a fabulous feline, Tigger is ready to bounce into your life with a positive attitude and make every day more enjoyable!

If you would like to adopt this wonderful cat, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org for an appointment!

More about this rescue

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.

PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.

Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.

We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.

Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
