What a GEM! Sweet girl Ruby wants to cuddle up with YOU!

Ruby is about 8 years old and weighs 70 lbs. She is a sweet, mellow lady who loves to be with her people. She gives gentle kisses and loves to snuggle. Ruby is such a great travel companion as she absolutely loves car rides! Ruby was originally rescued 4-5 years ago and lived happily with her owner up until a few months ago when her owner tragically passed away. Ruby stayed by her owner’s side until the end, comforting her, encouraging her, loving her. Even after her passing, when family members wept for their lost loved one, Ruby crawled over to them to lick the tears from their face. She would love a new forever home, but even an understanding foster home would be most welcome. She is a very loving girl but has had her world turned upside down, so she just needs a little patience to come out of her shell. Ruby is a strong gal and does not get along with other dogs. She simply wants a cozy place to curl up or a simple nap in the sun. She is the cutest couch potato you will ever meet. Ruby is fully vetted, impeccably house trained, and will do anything for some cheese! Cheese is her favorite. Easily transform her kibble into an elegant treat with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese!

AmsterDog Rescue does not have its own facility. Instead, we rely on fosters to care for our beloved animals. Our available animals may change depending on your location and we do transport animals for adoptions within a reasonable distance. Since you will possibly be speaking with and meeting a foster directly, an application must be filled out prior to meet and greets.
