Meet Baxter!

He’s a sweet and cuddly best friend, around 6 months old. Baxter is crated trained and sleeps quietly in it all night. He’s great with other pups, and loves to play all day. Baxter loves people of all sizes, and currently lives with kiddos. He would love to steal your heart, and bring joy to your life for the rest of his days. He can’t wait to meet you!

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

IF YOU CAN NOT SUBMIT AN APPLICATION ON OUR SITE PLEASE EMAIL US AT: questions@awishforanimals.org and we will send you an application.

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
