Meet Benji!

We adore this sweet boy. He is such a happy go lucky dog and reality is he is a total goofball!
If you are looking for a happy, social, loving and active young adult dog then Benji is the ONE for you.
Benjamin is not only handsome but also a fantastic companion who will bring laughter to your life.
Benji has an athletic svelte build and loves to play. Like a true retriever he enjoys his toys and walks.
He is amazing with humans from men and women to kids. He has been great with all dogs, even alpha dogs seem to accept him as a no 'threat' personality. We have not cat tested benj but we have a feeling he would be just fine, applicants with kitties are welcome to request cat testing and inquire about our foster to adopt trials.

Benji was rescued very malnourished which affected his bone growth in the front legs and has a bit of a slant on his carpus (wrists) of the front legs which is barely noticeable and doesn't affect him walking and running around at all We would love a loving family to inquire about this good hearted dog who will need normal puppy training to instill some basic puppy manners like leash training. He is very food and toy motivated which should make puppy training a breeze for him. Benji is crate trained and does well in car rides.

If you'd like to foster or adopt this handsome silly goofball please help us get him home by submitting an application online at arwob.org

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
