Here's what the humans have to say about me:
RIPLEY IS READY TO BE ADOPTED! 🎉
This super sweet 1-1.5 year old Aussie girl is all healed & ready to be someone’s forever love. She is a pretty herdy girl, so we are specifically seeking a home familiar with herding breeds. This also means no children under 10 in her forever home.
Ripley has pemphigus, so she will likely need medication for life. It’s not an expensive med, but it is very necessary to keep her well. She also will need to limit her sun exposure.
Just like most pups of her breed, Ripley loves to play, learn, and have adventures. She would love a furry sibling who likes to play. Kitties and chickens are fine with her as well.
Viva! NM Rural Animal Rescue is a foster based rescue therefore we do not have a shelter facility. Meet & greets can be arranged by appointment only or if the animal is at an adoption event. Our adoption process begins with an adoption application, which you can fill out in person at an event or onlinehere: https://forms.gle/nwTzSeaXwgRb7xX68 Once the application is submitted and approved, Viva! conducts a meet & greet, and then a home visit. Once the application, meet & greet & home visit are successfully completed we complete our adoptions with an adoption contract and payment of the adoption fee. Each contract includes a 10 day trial adoption period. We do NOT do out of state adoptions. Adoption fees for our dogs is $250 Seniors and select animals may have reduced fees. The adoption fee includes current vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter and heartworm testing.

All animals are sterilized, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. We require an initial adoption application, once accepted pets may be adopted with an approved home check and signed adoption contract. Our adoption fee is generally $200.00, but this may vary in special cases. We do not do out of state adoptions.

More about this rescue
Viva NM Rural Animal Rescue is a group of volunteers dedicated to saving homeless and abandoned pets in rural high volume shelters. We hope to not only decrease the number of dogs and cats that are euthanized through rescue and adoption but also educate the population overall about the importance of spay and neuter programs. We do not have a facility, our rescue is strictly foster-home based.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
