Abba is very sweet and still on the shy side. Once she knows that she's safe with you, she turns into an absolute love bug. She enjoys rubbing her head against her humans and even gives hand kisses. She also loves chin pets and head rubs. Because Abba is still learning to trust humans, we think she would do better in a quieter household without young kids. Ideally, her forever humans would work from home as she would make a fabulous desk or office companion. She's one sweet girl who needs someone to give her a chance, time, and grace to get comfy.
Abba's origin story starts back to 2021 when my mom and I found a colony of young cats in our neighborhood. We got them fixed and vaccinated, and Abba was returned to her outdoor community, where she was doing well with the other community cats. However, earlier this year, either stray dogs or coyotes started attacking the cats and we knew we had to rescue as many cats from that colony as we could. We saved a good amount, but we also lost a few really sweet cats. Unfortunately, life as an outside community cat can be very rough and dangerous.
Abba has been through a lot of change in her short life, but she has so much love to give. She deserves to live her best indoor kitty life after losing her outdoor home and cat friends, and this is her chance!
