My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Dottie, a 2.5-year-old Pittie mix looking for my perfect match! I may be a little shy at first, but I warm up quickly, especially to women who shower me with love and attention.

I'm still learning some leash manners, but I'm making great progress! I might get a little excited when I see other dogs and pull, so a quieter neighborhood or home with fewer dog encounters might be ideal for me. I'd do best as the only dog in the home.

Indoors, I'm a dream! I'm house-trained and have only had one little accident (oops!). I love my Kong bone and will happily chew on it to keep myself entertained. I would do best in a home with adult women, as small children and men seem to intimidate and scare me.

Overall, I'm a sweet and easy-going girl who just needs a loving family to call my own. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion, I might be the perfect fit for you!

More about this rescue

Southern Nevada Animal Rescue League (SNARL) exists to provide a better life for adoptable homeless, abandoned, or abused animals. We aim to assist in the effort of limiting the overpopulation of these animals as well as educate the public against breed or size discrimination. There is no such thing as a “bad breed”, only bad humans. Our mission is to make sure all of the animals we rescue are placed in loving, safe, and viable fur-ever homes.
