Milkshake is a joyful and affectionate dog who brings happiness wherever she goes. She may pull on the leash a bit but she is learning. She has a good amount of energy but once she settles down, she becomes a perfect cuddle buddy on the couch. Milkshake has proven to be well-behaved in a foster home, not causing any damage. If you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys both playtime and relaxation, Milkshake is the one for you!

Fill out a Meet Your Match questionnaire, spend some time getting to know the pet you are considering taking home, and talk to an adoption counselor.
Each animal will leave the Center spayed or neutered, vaccinated, heartworm (dogs) or FeLV/FIV (cats) tested, de-wormed, treated for fleas/ticks, given heartworm preventative if applicable and microchipped.

McKamey Animal Center in Chattanooga, TN, first opened its doors to the city’s homeless pets in July 2008. A leader in animal welfare both locally and nationally, the nonprofit shelter’s mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and people by encouraging a culture of responsibility and compassion. As an open admission facility, the Center provides animal services and care for any animal in the city of Chattanooga regardless of age, breed, health, and temperament. McKamey has a number of thriving programs to benefit companion animals and people including adoption, foster, rescue, trap-neuter-return for feral cats, and humane education.
