Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: I am a bit of a scaredy-cat, but with patience and love I will start to trust and come out of my shell. I absolutely love full body aggressive scratches, especially on my belly! My purr motor runs at full speed, I roll around on the floor, and soak in every ounce of love when I get belly scratches! I`m not food motivated, but I will eat treats, I just prefer to do it when no one is looking. I like to play hide and seek... but really it is just me hiding! So, if you find me, please limit my hiding places so I am more likely to spend time in open areas. I like to be higher up, like on top of a desk, cat tree or in a window. But, when I hide, you can usually find me under things like a bed or couch. My foster mom says I`m making good progress and in time I will be as social as any other cat!
Any special needs or traits the adopter should know about? (we may add this to the bio): Wonton would definitely feel more comfortable having his own room or personal safe space, especially for sleeping at night.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
