My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Kitty is a super sweet, long hair orange lady looking for her furever family. Her beautiful orange fluff needs daily bushing and Miss Kitty LOVES her brushing sessions! She is 8 years young and gets along well with other cats and dogs - even tolerating lots of love from an over-zealous puppy! She also does fine as an only pet. She loves sitting at the window watching the world go by or sitting in your lap. Very sweet, affectionate and vocal - she will tell you all about her day!

Miss Kitty is diabetic, requiring special food and twice daily insulin injections. She is very well behaved for her injections and tolerates them well. Approximate cost for her insulin and syringes is $55 per month.

Miss Kitty really hopes she can find her forever family - one that appreciates she has a lot of life to live and love to give!

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
