My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Woof, howdy there, folks! I'm Jolene, and let me tell you, my paws are always tappin' and my tail is always waggin'! I'm the bounciest, most joyful pup you'll ever meet.

I'm all about playtime and fun! Whether it's chasing my tail, fetching a tennis ball, or wrestling with my favorite squeaky toy, I'm always up for a game.

Now, let's talk about car rides. Oh, how I adore them! Just the mention of the word "car" and I'm at the door, ready to jump in and hit the open road. The wind in my fur, the new scents whizzing by - it's like a canine adventure every time we hop in the car together.

But my absolute favorite thing in the world? That's easy - spreading joy wherever I go! My bouncy spirit and happy-go-lucky attitude are contagious. Whether it's a goofy grin or a gentle nuzzle, I'll make sure to brighten your day and share my boundless joy with you. I promise while I may be named after that Dolly Parton song I will not take your man...Or will I?

So, if you're looking for a playful, car-ride-loving, bouncy and joyful companion who's as infectious as a catchy tune, then look no further than me, Jolene! Together, we'll dance through life together.

Post Adoption Training Scholarship (PATS)
At SAVE, we understand that the current economy presents challenges, and this impacts dog adoption rates. To ease the financial burden on adopters and help our adoptable dogs find their forever homes, we are excited to introduce the Post Adoption Training Scholarship (PATS) program. This initiative funds the first five training sessions with a qualified trainer for select medium and large breed dogs, identified in their adoption bios. For more information, please call the shelter director (Jack Griffin) and ask about the PATS program.
