My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Panchita is a resilient and loving cat who found her way to SAVE after her previous owner had to move and could no longer care for her. Along with her, she brought her adorable litter of kittens, showcasing her nurturing and caring nature. Despite the upheaval, Panchita has remained sweet, outgoing, and an absolutely wonderful mother.

Panchita's playful spirit and friendly demeanor make her a joy to be around. She still loves to play and explore, bringing a spark of fun to any home. Her outgoing personality means she adjusts well to new environments and gets along great with other cats, making her an ideal addition to a multi-cat household.

This loving and playful cat deserves a forever home where she can continue to thrive and share her affection. If you're looking for a sweet, outgoing companion who has proven to be a fantastic mom and a playful friend, Panchita is the perfect match. Come meet Panchita and see how she can brighten your life with her loving presence and playful antics!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
