My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sheba, a timid yet incredibly sweet kitten who's ready to find her forever home. Though she might be a little shy at first, Sheba's gentle nature shines through, and her constant purring is a testament to the love she has to offer.

Sheba needs a patient and understanding family who can give her the time and space to feel safe and secure. With a bit of patience and lots of love, she'll soon reveal her affectionate side, rewarding you with endless purrs and soft cuddles.

If you're looking for a tender-hearted kitten who just needs a bit of encouragement to flourish, Sheba is the perfect addition to your home. Adopt Sheba today and help her blossom into the loving and confident companion she's meant to be.

More about this shelter

Founded in 1941 by the third female graduate from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine, SAVE is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit animal shelter dedicated to protecting the health and welfare of homeless companion animals in the greater Princeton area and beyond. Through six core programs of Rescue, Shelter, Health and Welfare, Spay/Neuter, Foster and Adoption.

The SAVE shelter facility has the capacity to house upwards of 100 animals at a time (approximately 75 cats and 25 dogs). The shelter exceeds no-kill benchmark standards and ensures that adoptable animals facing adversity are given a lifeline, a chance to flourish, and the promise of a better tomorrow.
