Murphy is a sweet, loving young puppy. He is also a very big handsome boy. Murphy has separation anxiety. He is not aggressive at all. He is very playful and energetic. He is a sweet protector as well. He will often bark at strangers entering the home but once acclimated, he does very well. He gets a long very well with other dogs. Other dogs seem to be intimidated by him but he stays calm and sniffs. We have a prong collar that he does very well on. If he has just his normal collar on, he can pull quite a bit. We have trained him a lot with basic commands as well as most leash manners. He is learning “Heal” command. He is such a smart dog as well. His Great Pyrenees DNA does show through with his stubbornness but if you are persistent, he almost always listens. An ideal home for him is a work from home parent/owner. He loves his Crate but is so smart and strong that he excapes almost every time. He will often chew things up as well once he is out. When he has company, he is one of the most well behaved dogs. The other ideal confiscate would be someone who is retired or home more often than not. Someone who can be with him most of the day. He does well with children, he is very playful and his big body and big paws can often get a little too excited. With him being a Labrador, he uses his mouth a lot for playfulness as well.
