Daisy (beige) and Honey (standard) are a bonded pair of 8 year old female chinchillas. They were born in 2016 from an accidental litter, and came to us in 2024 when their owner could no longer care for them.
These girls are full of life and love. Don't be discouraged by their age- 8 is barely middle aged for chinchillas. They average 15 years, and can even live up to 30. These ladies will be your best friends for a long time.
They can be a little nervous at first, especially about being picked up, but are sweet and comfortable being pet. At their vet visit, they hopped around the exam room and said hi to everyone (and of course everyone wanted to say hi to these beautiful chins!), happy to sit on our vet's shoulder and inspect the world around them. Once they get to know you, you'll see how fun and loving Daisy and Honey are.
