Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Nestle
Are you going to be the lucky one to adopt sweet Nestle? She is a gentle and tenderhearted dog who is about 2 years old and weighs 40 pounds.
She was recued by a private rescuer near the border of Mexico. She comes from a tough situation prior to coming to us. Despite this, she is a wonderful, happy, submissive, loving dog that thinks she is a lap dog :)
She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would be great in just about any home. She would be fine with children and other pets.
She is doing well with leash training.
As you can see from the video, she is a wonderful dog who just wants love and a family to call her own!
Nestle is located in at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Gettysburg, PA on August 10th. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.
If you would like to add this playful cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt

Services our dogs receive prior to adoption:
Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate)
All age-appropriate vaccines
Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
Spay/neuter surgery
Microchip
Nestle tested positive for Chagas disease and has started her treatment. She is doing great on Dr. Madigan's protocol! This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives.
Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol.
We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas
Nestle tested positive for heartworms and was already treated.
