Jewell came in with her siblings from Cherokee county. She is a little over a year old and a medium-sized dog. She was adopted from us as a puppy and returned when her family fell on financial hardship.
In her foster home Jewell has been house and crate-trained. She loves meeting dogs on walks but can sometimes be protective when meeting within her home. So a dog introduction and slow meetings are necessary.
Jewell's foster mom says she is very loving and cuddling. We do not recommend Jewell live with small animals.
She is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $200. Apply to meet her at mpravl.org
All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.
Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.
Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
