Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sir Rufus is such a happy and loving pup! He always wants to be around you and loves to curl up next to you on the couch or at your feet. He has been enjoying sun baking out on our porch when it’s not too hot, and loves to watch the neighbors cats! He is young and will need ongoing training with daily exercise. He can be slightly weary of strangers, but warms up quickly once he knows he can trust you. He is a loyal companion and just wants a forever family where he can be spoiled!
?? Kid friendly (met two little kids at an adoption event and was fantastic with them!)
?? Dog friendly (lives with 2 dogs.)
?? Snuggle expert
?? Crate trained (will whine a little at first but settles down quickly)
?? House trained (99% - we keep him in a crate when we are gone and at night)
?? Playful but will also chew on his dog toys to entertain himself
?? 1 year old (very well behaved for this age)
?? Healthy
?? Knows some basic commands we taught him in just a couple of days - VERY smart
?? Good on a leash
?? Non-reactive
?? No resource guarding
?? Handsome and happy boy!
He seems to match energy and adapts to his environment easily. We think he would be amazing in just about any home. We also think he may have previously lived in a home with kids because he’s so gentle with them. He deserves a family that wants to include him on adventures and treat him like the best boy that he is! He would be fine as an only dog or with other pup siblings. He has not been tested with cats.
