Loki, about 2 years old, Chihuahua/Corgi mix, male, about 15 lbs., neutered, microchipped, vaccinate d and house broken.
Loki was surrendered by the family who had him since he was 3 months old. A family member developed an allergy and could no longer keep the puppy. He was surrendered to No Stray Left Behind rescue on Sunday, 6/30 and I’ve been fostering him since. As you can imagine, it was very traumatic for Loki to be left behind and he was not eating for a couple of days. He seems to have imprinted on me and is just now getting more comfortable losing sight of me. He’s been left alone in the house with our dog, Penny, twice and there have been no incidents. As soon as he learned the “ going outside routine ” and where the pee pads are, we’ve had no accidents.
Loki is a cuddle bug. He’s so incredibly sweet. He sits on my lap as I work and he doesn’t disturb me at all. He also loves to play fetch and chew on his toys (doesn’t chew anything else in the house). He’s also a great walker. However, we think he was not used to walk ing on pavement, so his paws are sensitive. Penny likes to be the only dog in the house, but they have come to an understanding and tolerate each other. They don’t play together , but are slowly becoming friends . Penny doesn’t like to cuddle, so Loki is not taking her space.
