Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Jack: Your Future Best Friend! 🐾
Introducing our newest rescue, Jack! Recently surrendered to Just Paws, Jack's previous family made the difficult decision to find him a forever home that can give him the life he deserves. This adorable Yorkie mix is now happily settling in with his foster family. When he arrived at the rescue he was groomed – he feels so much better, and all those matts are now gone (and he can see through his gorgeous brown eyes). The groomer said he was an A+++ star!
About Jack:
Breed: Yorkie Mix
Weight: Approx. 6 lbs
Age: Approx. 18 months
Health: Up to date on vaccinations and heartworm prevention
Scheduled for microchipping and neutering soon.
Despite his small size, Jack is a bundle of energy! He's incredibly friendly, sweet, and cuddly, and he loves being around his people. Jack has a special fondness for food and treats – show him a treat bag, and he'll be your best friend in an instant!
Jack sleeps well in his crate at night and patiently waits for his foster mom to let him out in the morning. He enjoys roaming freely around the house during the day and would thrive in a home where humans are around most of the time, as he does experience some separation anxiety if left alone for too long.
Jack's Ideal Home:
An active family.
A household with another playful small dog would be nice.
Dog-respectful kids (over 12 years old) – Jack's small size might not be suitable for younger children.
A house with a secure backyard (preferred) – Jack loves being outdoors!
Jack has lived in a condo but truly enjoys the outdoors. His house training is progressing well, with only a couple of accidents, and he's learning to do his business outside. He loves going for walks and, although he sheds, he's a wonderful family dog for those without allergies.
Overall, Jack is a special and loving dog. We're still getting to know him, but we believe his personality will shine even brighter as he continues to adjust. If you think you could be the forever loving family Jack deserves, apply now and give this sweet boy the best home ever!
