My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JACK and BRIE are FINALLY available for adoption! 🎉
Our longest-term fosters, this brother-sister duo have been in our care since June 2023 when they were just a week old.
However, no sooner were they fully vetted and ready for their forever home than Jack developed FIP.
For the uninitiated, FIP is a HORRIBLE disease that results when feline coronavirus, a ubiquitous and typically mild Gl bug, mutates inside a cat's body and wreaks havoc. Until about 5 years ago, FIP was considered incurable and veterinarians universally recommended euthanasia upon diagnosis. But today, there is effective - albeit expensive - treatment. Now that Jack has finished his and has been officially declared cured, these two fabulous cats are ready to go home together.
Jack and Brie are both SUPER affectionate and get along great with other cats, dogs, and even rabbits. Jack knows his name, and, like a dog, always comes running when he is called, no doubt in hopes of receiving a churu (a treat he received daily during treatment). He is also the bestest big brother to every new foster kitten, showing them the ropes and always playing gently. Brie loves belly rubs and will flop and roll at visitors' feet with the hope of wooing them into caressing her. In defiance of her calico nature, she is extremely easygoing and entirely sass-free.
If you are looking for cats who mostly keep to themselves and scatter like cockroaches when company comes over, Jack and Brie are NOT for you. But if you are looking for a pair of lovebugs who adore each other almost as much they adore you, these two promise not to disappoint.

Jack and Brie are vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed/neutered. Fill out an application and come meet them today! Born 5/23
