My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Hanbang🩷
Hanbang was at Korean city shelter, which was at full capacity and exposed her to the risk of euthanasia any time. Eventually Adogs rescued Hanbang who was waiting for a family at the shelter with her fur tangled like rags.

* Toward People: Is shy with people she meets for the first time, but loves people a lot. Becomes a total cutie who approaches first wagging her tail, eye contacts and displays charms asking for being petted once she gets used to you.
* Toward Dogs: Is not the type to approach other dogs first. Stays around caregivers when she encounters new dogs.
* Toward Cats: Does not show any particular response to cats.

* Separation Anxiety: Takes a rest in her space even though whimpering a little for 5 minutes first.
* Potty Training : Is good at indoor potty as well as outdoor potty. Uses potty pads well even though she occasionally misses the mark.
* Hygiene: Accepts baths well but is scared of the sound of a dryer.
* Walks: Is good at walking without pulling on the leash or without getting ahead even though she occasionally tries to go back home.

** Treatment for heartworm infection is completed. Needs retest in February 2025

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."
But once applicants pass zoom interview, we will connect adopter to foster team for the most up to date news as well as photos and videos. The adopter can post any questions and can make video call as well.
Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue

ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.

We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.

Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.

In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.

Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
