My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pumpkin was adopted a year ago from the Dallas Animal Shelter. The families work schedule has changed resulting in no one being able to give Pumpkin the care she needs. They reached out to LHS for assistance finding her a forever home to call her own.

Pumpkin is a very sweet and loving girl who has yet to meet a stranger. She is great with kid and dogs of all shapes and sizes. She loves playing with small doggies too. She has not yet been around cats that we know of, but we can cat test if needed. Pumpkin is housebroken and crate trained.

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period.
