My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hondo and his 3 siblings were like so many in the south, dumped in the woods, unwanted litter of pups, We have had Hondo and his siblings since they were 7-8 wks old. Hondo is a sweet natured boy, loves to be brushed, and have any kind of attention. He has not been around cats so caution needs to be taken to see how he does do with them. He is fine w other dogs and pups. He likes to meet new people, loves treats and is no a major barker. He barks when he needs to, not just to bark. Hondo has been a country boy. He would be fine in the suburbs but needs a fence as he would go and adventure on his own.

More about this rescue

Morning Meadow Animal Rescue is a non-profit organization. We operate on donations. Our mission is to help neglected and abused animals find a lifetime home through adoption. MMAR also educates about animal care and the importance of spay/neuter. MMAR provides care and shelter to animals until they can be adopted. We participate in transports to all areas of the country. There is a great need in our area for a rescue since there are no options but a kill shelter.
