My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What makes me super? I am gentle, playful, and make new friends easily

My preferred sidekicks are: cats, calm dogs, tweens

Articuno can take a few days to thaw out with new people, but bringing her sister Zapdos home with her will electrify your world. Tico is a gentle girl who does best with less activity and patient folks who give her time to feel secure. She enjoys sleeping with her foster parents, cuddling her cat buddies, and taking treats gently. She lives in an adult home with small/active dogs who are well trained to let cats say hi first.

Articuno carries the Himalayan Gene, which causes albinism on warmer parts of the body-this mutation has resulted in seal colored points on her ears, snout, tail, and feet. While she 'looks' like a Siamese or Fancy Colorpoint, without a pedigree line, she is simply a Moggy or Mutt born in a field. Articuno is a sweet, gentle soul who is seeking a family who appreciates her inner beauty more than her looks.

We pride ourselves on a perfect match and pay close attention to the cats personality before sending it home. We have a thorough match survey and provide an open door policy just in case. We typically do not answer general inquiries without an application.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We provide private in home fostering and do not allow visitors at our homes with an approved application, interview, and confirmed appointment made by the CEO.

We partner with our local, family owned businesses and events, but a majority of our adoptions are done from the comfort of your home.

More about this rescue

We work hard to educate the community about why spaying and neutering is important. We only take cats that are non adoptable in shelters which includes feral, abused, abandoned, and traumatized cats and kittens. We heal them inside and out using positive reinforcement and force free techniques. Last, we provide assistance to low income families to help them fix their pets, provide food to feral cat colony managers, and sponsor adoption fees for those who need a pet and can afford their care but not an additional fee.
