MEET ZUKO & MOOSE (bonded pair) !!

5 year old Zuko is a German Shepherd Mix, and 5 year old Moose is a Rottweiler mix. The boys are a bonded pair. Both Zuko & Moose are moderately active, have basic obedience training, and are being rehomed due to a job change and downsizing of their current family. Neither dog has been around cats, but they do get along with other dogs and children. They are both around 75 to 80 lbs.

Zuko has quite a bit of energy , loves to chase a ball, and needs a yard to run around in. He does walk on a leash but pulls quite a bit so will need more training.

Moose is a very nice boy. He isn't in to toys, he does like to swim, and he loves affection,. he has a nice even disposition. He also does need a yard to run around in.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
