Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Shelby! This sweet boy is around 1.5 years old and is searching for a forever home of his own.
Shelby was rescued at a rural property. Soon after his arrival, this bright eyed kitty started to enjoy under the chin strokes and scritches. In no time, he settled in and is a very friendly boy. He gets along well with the other cats in the house, both male and female. This handsome boy loves attention and pets! He gets very excited when watching wildlife through the windows, and would love a forever home with big windows to continue his birdwatching journey. Shelby often stands on his hind legs, chattering at his foster mom - he is a total goofball! As he is still a young cat, he is very high energy and loves to play - he can even be a bit of a toy hog! He also loves bouncy sponge balls, which he carries in his mouth and will bring it back after it’s thrown. The laser, cat nip toys and the tunnel are favourites too. Shelby is very clever, and loves solving the puzzle feeder in his foster home to earn extra treats! He loves to be brushed, and doesn’t mind being held or on your lap, but he would rather be on the floor playing. He will be great in a home with another friendly cat or on his own, although he really does love other cats. Shelby will be great with older children who will spend lots of time with him.
Shelby has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, health-checked, treated for parasites, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. His adoption fee is $250. If you have room in your heart and your home for Shelby, please submit an application at www.heartstohomes.ca/cat-adoption.
