Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Well, if that’s not a happy face, then what is? Introducing Hialeah, a smily 4-year old, 20-pound Spitz mix who adores humans of all ages, particularly young children. What an ideal dog for a young family!
Hialeah is fully housebroken, non-destructive in the home, walks well on a leash, and rarely barks. A very social and affectionate pup, Hialeah is all about spending time with her peeps. She is equal parts playful and chill, and she will adapt to the energy level of her household. Wanna toss around a ball? She’s all in. Wanna tender cuddle session? She’s down for that. Wanna brush out her beautiful coat? She lovvvves being groomed. A total angel, Hialeah is even quite comfortable amusing herself when you have to leave her alone.
Hialeah is cautious around unfamiliar larger-size dogs, but with a little time and space, she warms up to them. She just needs to know it’s safe before she will engage and play with them. With proper introduction, Hialeah is absolutely fine with other dogs, but she is the type of girl who prefers people over pooches.
Responsive to treats, Hialeah knows the commands sit and paw. When she wants something, she has a tender way of asking for it, always with kindness and respect. Haialeah also has a habit of staring lovingly into your eyes, as if to say, I just wanna be your best friend. And what an amazing best friend she will make. Hialeah is a fun, fluffy, friendly gem of a dog, and her lucky adopter(s) are going to be so thrilled to have found her.

PupStarz Rescue is an animal welfare group committed to the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats in public shelters at high risk of euthanasia, as well as those in danger of abuse. We are committed to rescuing as many animals as possible, saving over 2,600 dogs and cats since 2015.
PupStarz Rescue is a foster-based rescue, relying on fosters to open their homes and lives to our Animals. Animals in our care receive proper medical care, including alteration, vaccinations, and microchipping.
Following a thorough screening, our animals are placed in loving, responsible, committed forever homes. PupStarz Rescue ensures that adoptions are an appropriate match for both the animal and their new family by educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a furry companion into their lives.
We are committed to the welfare of our "Starz" beyond the adoption process. We maintain open communication with our adopters to ensure a smooth transition, and offer additional support such as positive training techniques.
Founded in 2015, PupStarz Rescue is a non-profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization.
