My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Crew is a 2 year old, 57 pound boy whose owner could no longer take care of him. He is sweet, but is stressed and nervous in the shelter, as most are. He's very treat motivated, loves food, and enjoys a really good sniffing. He is working on his leash walking and needs a strong handler as he does pull.

Crew has shown that he is dog friendly/selective. He may be a bit nervous/tense so slow and appropriate intros are a must after decompression.

Crew has shown signs of resource guarding food and toys while at the shelter and will need management and training in a home.

He is showing high levels of stress in the shelter environment including "stereotypical" stress behaviors (like biting at his kennel and water bowl, obsessive licking, and an inability to settle in his kennel and on walks), even after moving to a quieter part of the shelter.
