Hi there! My foster mom calls me Sally. I was rescued from St Paul Animal Control and she took me in. I'm still a little afraid of humans. My foster mom is really nice and patient and is working with me to be trusting of people. And it is working! I now like to be "part of the family" and near my mom. It has taken me a month to get to this point so I will need a patient family to adopt me to give me time to settle in again.
I'll come around on my terms, but wet food does help! Churu is my treat of choice and a good way to win me over.
I don’t really like dogs or other animals, but I can tolerate them and can hold my own. I do ride good in a car in the kennel, but then I can become quite talkative too. I can be a nice gal, but it’s on my terms. Can you please give me a chance? I promise I'll do my best to become a great companion!
Julie is from a local impound. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
