My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted Knyko (pronounced Niko) 3 years ago. I consider him my son and he has traveled with me all over the US -- he's a great car dog.

Due some recent difficult circumstances, I have realized that I cannot give him the life and home he deserves. He's a "people person" and because I have to be at work 6 days a week for 12-hour shifts, so he's not getting the attention he needs.

I've trained him well -- he comes when called and is good on the leash. Sometimes he gets a little too excited and wants to hug and kiss new friends, which we've been working on.

In his ideal scenario, he would be around people and/or other pets; he would have space to run around; he would have air conditioning to hang out in on these hot days; and he would get a lot of exercise to let his energy out.

He's a wonderful dog and it's breaking my heart to let him go, but he deserves the best, and I'm committed to giving it to him. I love him so much and I hope you do too.
