My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fortune is a chatty tabby whose slightly downturned eyes make her look just a little bit concerned all the time. Her life was turned upside down when she came to SCAT with her much younger friend Fate and the two are still quite bonded with one another, so would need to be adopted together at this time. Fortune is first to greet the Centre feeders, and chats with you as you get her dinner ready. She has recently decided she wants to be up on the desk where the action is and loves belly rubs (though sometimes she wants to trap your hands for kicks and soft bites you can easily pull away). Fortune can be picked up for short periods of time while you are petting her and would make a lovely companion to someone who wanted a friendly/cuddly cat.

Her estimated date of birth is Dec 22, 2010

More about this rescue

Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
