Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Are you looking for a BFF? Me too! My name is Dolly. Let me tell you about myself.
I’m an English Cocker Spaniel, 7-1/2 years old, weigh 40 pounds and have lots of energy. I’m up to date on my vaccinations, heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and I potty outside.
I like other dogs and people, especially when they pet me. I’ve never been around cats. It would probably be better if there weren’t any in my new home.
I’m a retired girl. My former job was having puppies. Retirement has given me the opportunity to experience and enjoy new things. I have lots of energy. Walks are great. I get to see and smell all kinds of new stuff. I walk nicely on a leash. My favorite activity is running in the yard and looking for lizards. I really, really would like to have a yard to do that at my new home. When it’s time to chill, I like being next to my human on the sofa.
Now that you know all about me, how about you tell me about yourself. You can complete an adoption application at https://www.saveourcockerspaniels.org/foster-adoption-application. My adoption fee is $350.
SOCKS adopts to families in Florida, Georgia, Southern Alabama and southeastern Mississippi. If you are out of the state of Florida, you would need to travel to Florida to complete your adoption. Please note that we do check vet references and your current pets must be up to date on vaccinations and heartworm testing. Please be able to provide proof of purchase of heartworm prevention. All dogs and cats in your home must be spayed or neutered. We will not set up a meet and greet until your application has been received, reviewed, and approved. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first served basis. We will accept applications and then screen all and choose the best match. Only approved applicants will be contacted.
