My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Purrito the II (DOB 4/9) will be ready for her forever home around July 24th.

Meet Purrito! Purrito is full of curiosity and has the most playful personality. She is such an affectionate kitten who loves both late night playtime and cuddles! Purrito loves to perch on shoulders so she can go everywhere around the house. She may be shy at first, but once she is comfortable she will never leave your side. She will bring so much joy and would be the perfect addition to any family!

Upon adoption, Purrito will be spayed and vaccinated. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV and has a pre-registered microchip with lifetime enrollment.

Additional adoption info

Upon adoption, all of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FeLV, and will be fully vaccinated. There is a $75 deposit once your application is approved, which will go toward the adoption fee ($155 for kittens and $95 for retired momma kitties) and reserves the desired kitten. Please allow the board 72 business hours to review the application and conduct a vet-check.

All current pets MUST BE spayed/neutered and current on the following vaccinations:
Dogs: Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, Negative HW test and current HW prevention
Cats: Rabies, FVRCP
Cats must also have a NEGATIVE FIV/FeLV test on file.

If the kitten you are interested in has multiple applications, once we contact you regarding your application approval, you have 24 hours to respond before we move on to the next applicant.

Go meet their pets

We are an entirely foster based organization, meaning that all of our kittens reside in private homes. Since we are a neonatal rescue, it would be too risky for the kittens to meet potential adopters. They are not fully vaccinated until the time they’re available for adoption (which is typically 4 weeks after they start accepting applications). We try to do everything in our power to mitigate the risk of them becoming ill therefore we do not conduct meet and greets. We do, however, have a 14 day trial period built into our adoption contract.

More about this rescue

Six Kittens Rescue is an all-volunteer organization committed to reducing the homeless, abandoned, and abused cat population in Brazos County. We strive to educate citizens on the spread of preventable diseases in cats and the proper care with emphasis on spaying and neutering. We humanely trap feral cats and kittens in order to medically evaluate them and find them loving forever homes.
