My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a furry friend to bring joy and love into your home? Look no further than JayJay, the 5.5-month-old male orange tabby who is sure to steal your heart! This little ball of fur is not just your average cat - he is playful, affectionate, and oh-so-cute!

JayJay is a bundle of energy who loves to play all day long. From chasing toy mice to pouncing on feather wands, he will keep you entertained with his playful antics. His curious nature and adventurous spirit make him a perfect companion for anyone looking for a lively and fun-loving feline friend.

JayJay is a social butterfly who thrives in the company of other cats. He is dependent on the presence of another feline friend to feel secure and content. If you already have a cat at home, JayJay will quickly become best buddies with them, sharing toys, napping spots, and endless cuddles.

Additional adoption info

For Pet's Sake Rescue wants to insure that every animal goes to a forever home that can provide their every need including future medical care should they ever need it. For this reason, we ask each person interested in adopting to complete an application. The application requests information about the potential family including their home and occupants, as well as requests a vet references. If you do not have a vet reference, please contact us directly at adoptions@forpetssakerescue.org. During Covid-19 our home visits are changed to a video chat to insure safety of the animal.

We reserve the right to refuse an adoption. Most often times we know these animals on a personal level and can foresee it not being a good match for them though there are times when we have to refuse an adoption if there is a lack of comfort with the party.

Required: Completed application, photo ID with current address or an article of mail going to your current address in your name, and home video chat. We do not waive this process for anyone.

Adoption fees can be paid after you are given an approval. Invoices are emailed via PayPal. The deposit or transport fee holds your pet. Adoption fees are not refundable if you change your mind. Please be sure!

Do not complete an application if you are not sure you want a pet.

More about this rescue

For Pet's Sake Rescue is currently based in Long Beach, Mississippi.

This rescue specializes in feline rescues though occasionally take in miniature pigs and canines. Our goal is to provide strays and abused animals a safe haven to heal, become adoptable, and get a true chance at the life they deserve.

Our rescue focuses in healing animals and teaching them pet-like behaviors during their time with us. We spend time with each furbaby individually to learn their personality and make sure they are matched with the right family.
