My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is blooming into a wonderful and curious explorer. He is a playful and independent cat who loves pets and to sit by your side. Daisy enjoys being picked up and carried around by his people, adventures by land or air are welcome! Some nights he sleeps on your bed by your feet, other nights he sleeps in his own bed. Daisy loves playing and is very good at entertaining himself, he’s very inquisitive and will explore every inch of his surroundings. Chef Daisy is a professional biscuit maker: he makes them every time he’s happy or food is coming. Daisy is a fan of people and cats, he often naps where people are and tries to get his cat friends to join him in his antics. He is still learning how playtime works and has begun to understand boundaries other cats set. Daisy loves playing chase with his foster siblings on the couch and on the bed when the zoomies hit. He loves head and chin scritches and a bonus is he’s easy to handle for medication and nail trims. Daisy is no shrinking violet, he will get used to strangers fairly quickly and is not scared of the vacuum cleaner! Daisy loves vertical scratchers, high places, balls, paper bags and lounging in sun spots. If you have ample kisses to give, an interest in engaging your cat in play/activities and are ready to adopt: apply for Daisy!

Daisy underwent surgery to repair a vein to his liver that wasn't connected properly at birth. Our vet is very happy with the outcome of the surgery and feels his prognosis is excellent. No special care should be needed for him in the future.   Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

This cat is currently in a foster home. To meet the cat, please fill out an adoption application so that we'll have your contact information, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible. Our adoption application is on our website here:  www.thedancingcat.org/adopt
