About Me: Hi friends! My name is Luka. My Mom and Aunt were surrendered to Mending Spirits and they both gave birth days after arriving (just 1 day apart!). I am hoping to be adopted with one, two or more of my rat brothers, or to join another male rat who needs a companion.
I enjoy being tucked in my hut all cozy and warm. I love sleeping in my large enclosure all snuggled up and enjoy moving blankets around frequently. Most of the day, I spend resting safe in my house, laying on my cozy bedding, and checking out hammocks. I am really entertaining to watch and love to be hand fed. I spend lots of time with my family hanging out, cuddling and exploring our double critter nation fortress!
Us rats are super social and enjoy the company of other like-minded rats. I am quite lazy and easy to please. I would be a great rat for an experienced owner or someone who is new to rat care and who is patient with relationship building.
It is a requirement of my adoption that I do not get adopted into a home where I will be alone. Us rats are super social animals and form deep, meaningful bonds with our rat friends. We like to form best friend clubs.
