Maya is part of a bonded pair. You can read about her bestie Maggie here https://www.adoptapet.com/pet/41958360-tucson-arizona-cat
Maya is a sweet Bassett Hound x Chihuahua mix. She just turned 3. A lot of people think she looks like a Dachshund when they meet her because of her long body and short legs. But she is sightly bigger than a Dachshund and weighs a lean 28 pounds.
She loves belly rubs, plush toys, belly rubs, fuzzy blankets and belly rubs. She is like a big sister to Maggie (grey tabby cat). She plays with her gently and puts up with all of her shenanigans. Unknown if she would get along with other cats and dogs.
She is usually quiet, but alerts when people are at the door. She is leash-trained (with harness), spayed and microchipped.
